"creative decision" and it's a show that hasn't had a single "creative" idea in almost 2 seasons. The writing is getting cheaper and cheaper. Previous seasons had unrealistic plots but at least the character development was good. Emergencies matched characters' personal stories and issues. Now the show is going on but there doesn't seem to be a proper arc for any of them, or their arc is disrespected for the pure use of shock value. Doesn't make any sense. Season 9 has been confirmed but at what cost ? With peter krause gone, i don't see the queen angela bassett (who's always been WAY OFF THE SHOW'S LEAGUE) continuing as athena. This is so over so 9-1-1 i'm afraid. But eh, at least there's a new 9-1-1 show starting soon...! Who cheered ? (absolutely no one, not even a f-cking soul) well, good luck now tim minear! We are not with you!

Annnnd.... the plot thickens! If the first episode of the season offered us a solid start, this one confirms Mobland will be one of the greatest shows this year. With Guy Ritchie's genius, a witty writing and actors that are giving increddible performances, we can only expect the show to get better and better, with action scenes going crescendo, maybe ? Definitely hope so, it's a delight seeing Tom Hardy portraying a calm, collected Harry Da Souza, yet violent and threatening. Highly recommend this one lads! I'm hooked like I've rarely been before. Can't wait for next week's one, I know this will be a hit again! + the music is INSANE!!

Guy Ritchie reunites a really good cast for Mobland and its the show's strongest appeal... but it's also good in its substance. The characters are well written and crafted by their actors, the story is interesting in itself and the pilot provides us good content. I'm looking forward to next week, so that's a good sign of quality to me!

What i did found interesting and made me happy was to see a myriad of female characters seemingly powerful and important, which is amazing in this male centered universe. Not only Helen Mirren is brilliant but man here seems to have a wife WAY COOLER than them, and Zosia and Seraphina are INCREDIBLE.

Consider me hooked already!
