I was like, I gotta finish the season because Neil Gaiman created this, I gotta finish it even if I had no desire to do so! I mean, people are praising this so it must worthwhile my time. Once I did I was like, what is it that I just watched? This came from the same guy who created Stardust, Good Omens and Lucifer? Maybe, this one was just not my cup of tea or maybe it was not well adapted for the screen.
This show is good because of Tom Ellis. Screenplay lacked consistency - it started out so great and then it quickly ran out of creative juice which is probably why it got cancelled at one point. I am glad that the story did wrap up although this could have been done in three seasons.
Honestly, none of the other actors made much of an impact although I wish Tricia Helfer had more screen time.

There is something Monty Pythonesque about it although the storytelling and acting is far better in Good Omens. It is weird, sometimes creepy (those hell guys) but often endearing, especially when Tenant and Sheen share the screen. There are no deep revelations here nor timeless philosophy only light, amusing storytelling.
