This is basically a teen drama. That would be fine with me, I don't mind teen drama. BUT this is supposed to be a superhero show, and there is almost no superhero stuff.

The few power moments are all stupid stuff, here we have a power capable of traveling through universes but actually look it can make stepping stones, shields, sometimes a big hand when the plot asks for it and the classic "round energy explosion around body".

The show even made me believe something good would happen because the main character actually trains to try and learn how to use the powers, but no, that's just fake and there is no change to her skills throughout the whole episodes.

To make everything even worse, I felt like I was watching an Indian soap opera, there is so much, SO MUCH INDIAN CULTURE EXPOSITION, every episode keeps reinforcing words, history, culture, it is a beautiful culture, the cinematography is beautiful, it is a beautiful show to watch, but if I wanted to learn about Indian culture there are better stuff out there thank you, I'm here for some dumb fictional superhero powers and fights, you know, universe ending ones.

I hated it, hated every minute of it, and it sucks because the actors are great and don't deserve this hate.

And how come this has a higher review score than She Hulk? She Hulk is what I expected it to be, bad in a current-Marvel-bad way, but at least it was using the marvel universe for something, I didn't feel like turning it off during every episode like I felt for Ms marvel.

Such a waste of time this was.

Since Netflix started filming Black Mirror again, there have been many misses.

The original episodes gave us a glimpse into how technology could and do shape our everyday lives, keeping us interested to the end, and leaving our minds in awe, in shock; is that... right? Would we really do that? Is that enough?

To this day I still remember "White Bear" and "White Christmas" episodes vividly, how messed up would society have to become for that to be acceptable? How messed up am I for thinking that's fair? What a great show!

And just like that, technology was the focus, even the pig episode, with society dancing around it.

These Netflix misses I mentioned are episodes which do present some random technology, but it is only a thing that's there, the episodes ignore it in favor of some random drama, weak, unremarkable... like the recent Beyond the Sea, a VERY cool idea, but the focus is taken away from the technology, we're just watching another "friends turned enemies" plot.

And then there are really bad episodes when it comes to what I expect from Black Mirror. The recent "Loch Henry" is one of them. Why is it a Black Mirror episode? It has no technology involved in it, society is just what we have, the plot is average for a lot of ~5 star rated movies here... it is not bad on its own, but why? It feels like the script wasn't good enough for a movie, so they decided to throw it anywhere.

But then, we finally get to this episode, "Mazey Day". It is bad even ignoring the "Black Mirror" name... there's nothing interesting, no technology, things are slow... but to make it supernatural? I had no idea that they could make something worse than they've done before, oh how wrong I was, I can't believe they did this to black mirror, no way! This is like an extremely bad Monster of the Week X-Files episode. It's just a very, very bad supernatural flick.

So yeah, this is revolting, I'm so angry that I didn't bother watching the last episode today, can't take it.

If you're correctly watching all the Netflix+marvel shows in launch order, you know what to expect and iron fist won't disappoint you in its 2 seasons.

As with other shows in this series you must watch them while forgiving or just ignoring unnatural stuff, like how a triad of hardcore gangs won't use guns even to protect their leader.

The acting is fine, visuals are nice, there's not many action scenes but they are okay-ish, I don't think they knew how to use the power in a good way, it feels like the only idea they ever had was "punch the ground for shockwave". Other than that it's just random kung fu fighting.

The second season has such a laughable ending, it's like a 10 year old kid was asked to write it and did the best they could, having watched Wanted and Matrix the day before; it doesn't even make sense story-wise, showing something that didn't seem possible given the 5 or 6 episodes we had trying to achieve and undo.

I enjoyed it, it's okay and can be fun if you keep an open mind.
