Watching this was painful. It felt like they had used parts of various other movies to stitch this thing together.

I saw the concert scene from the Fifth Element and Mission Impossible opening scene as well as the train scene plus some other movies who's names I cannot remember now.

All of these scenes tied together on what felt like a very low budget, except I hear a lot of money was spent so where did it go?

The story itself is terrible, it does not even take itself seriously. Most characters are just over the top and the Plot holes are so big that you realize quickly that this is not a movie where it even matters.

The special effects were sparse and kind of looked like something from a lower budget movie from 10 years ago.

The target audience for this felt like it was 10 year olds, but even they would be bored.

This show is a breath of fresh air in what has mostly been a dismal 2024 run of bad shows.

If you liked Blue Eyed Samurai, Frieren or Jobless Reincarnation you will probably like this. The Animation is very good but not Blue Eye Samurai good. The story is on Par with Frieren but moves at a quicker pace.

The writers had a really good story to tell and they don't waste time trying to stretch out one season into three. The main character "Will" is kept in focus at all times, this show does not go back and forth between multiple character story lines like most. The other characters are there to add to the story not become another story.

I just felt a need to make this review because I know so many people are starving for something that assumes you have a brain and does not play into modern culture.

I will warn you that some people may feel like they got baited in a later episode, just go with it as everything is not what it seems to be.

I watched this Anime when it came out in 2021 and I liked season one. I was then really upset with the 3 year wait to get a Season2.

This crap of 8-14 episodes of a show with a three year wait is just unacceptable IMHO.

Anyway I end up watching most of season 1 again because lord knows I have forgotten most of the details after 3 years.

I finally start to watch Season 2 and realize that they have literally changed up everything. Other than the main goal of S1 this new season has very few things that link it into S1. The sad part is that it is just Boring and seems to have headed towards catering to a younger age group. I would say season 1 is about a 6 out of 10 and season two is 2 out of 10.
