As a casual viewer of foreign production, harga is simply up to par with the standards of the latter. I'm extremely impressed by this tunisian production which left me fulfilled on so many levels: the gorgeous cinematography, the beautiful background music that painted every scene in its own colour, the well-written script in which symbolism was the key to merge between conciseness of words and depth of meaning, and most importantly the acting. A standing ovation to every single actor and actress who managed to realistically portray the different faces of harga's characters, of tunisians on a daily life basis. One cannot watch harga without feeling a sense of relatability and identification; a mixture of feelings of melancholy, disappointment, hopelessness, and hatred towards parties involved in our misery. I genuinely want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to the creation of harga and for shedding light on several issues that affect us, our neighbours, and the human being as a whole 🖤

I don't usually write reviews but given has left me with an undeniable wave of emotions that i still haven't gotten over and i found myself here urging anyone to give this anime a try and hopefully enjoy the taste of art created by given. personally characters' development is the strongest point in this anime. the way feelings and thoughts' growth is being displayed is down earth realistic. i'm not the type to indulge myself in the musical genre although i'm a lover of music however this anime left me so connected to it artistically and emotionally. fuyuu no hanashi is among my favourite songs now and i can't spend a day without listening to it! absolutely a worthy anime to be repeated whenever you feel like you're losing the pleasure you get from your passion or when you feel disconnected and lost!
