I enjoyed how the story unfolds towards the end and specifically the last hour. It gave it a meaning which what I was worried about halfway through the film as I felt like the story and characters weren't progressing.
The sound mixing/editing is the most powerful element in the film in my opinion. It was loud in moments where it needed to be loud which enhances the viewer's experience into what's being shown on screen and vice versa.
Joaquin phoenix does an awesome acting role as usual. Can't say the same for Emma Stone's due to her character's (Louise Cross) weak storyline that deserved more attention. Same goes for Austin Butler's Vernon.
Cinematography has its moments but not the best compared to the directors other projects. Same with the directing, not Ari's best work but you can tell there is a lot of foreshadowings and easter eggs that would give the directing more meaning to be appreciated. I got to add by saying that the comedy aspect wasn't forced, when it suppose to make you laugh, you will indeed laugh out loud. A funny and engaging film that leaves room for a slow boredom towards the middle.

This is the first time that I have felt a film is being so rushed but at the same time is moving in slow motion. It was distracting. One sequence Ethan is in a specific location and then the other he is in a totally different setting doing something completely different and unrelated to the scene before it.
The first hour of the film totally kills the purpose of the whole Dead Recking Part One (2023) film, so why did you even make this film if you know that you'll have to explain it scene by scene in the next film? The tone and choice of dialogues that the characters speak in to revisit the events of the last part felt very cheesy and was so obvious as if i was just watching one of those youtube recap vids of a film to get myself prepared for the new film part. The introduction of this film might be one of the worst ever and is definitely the worst for the mission impossible series.
Lastly, this film missed so many usual 'mission impossible' elements like humor, music, acting and engaging dialogue sequences. At most times the dialogues kept going on and on that made it feel like a never ending story. The only true interesting part about this film are the action sequences that pick up really well at perfect times and pace to keep the film engaging. The film's editing is the best in the series. It served its scenes very well to jump from one scene to another in a smooth scene to scene transitions.
I truly hope this is Ethan Hunt's FINAL mission...
