God be my witness if this movie deserves more oscars than Stanley Kubrick, Martin Scorsese, Alfred Hitchcock and Christopher Nolan combined then so be it, this is one of the goofiest most overrated movies i have ever seen.
The movie is tantalizingly boring, I don't even know what to say about the plot.
Jamie Lee Curtis was great... 40 years ago.
Not to mention that besides the 7 undeserving oscars it has also won another 350 awards... For what? Batman 0 oscars, Elvis 0 oscars, The Banshees of Inisherin 0 oscars, Top Gun Maverick only 1 oscar. Pure robbery.
The academy has always been stupid but this is a new low even for them.

Summoned a bunch of unnecessary sequels, but this movie on it's own is actually pretty damn great. Hits all the marks that it needs to hit. Funny, cool with just the right amount of corny one liners.
