This documentary is the primer for anyone wanting to understand the timeline of events from the perspective of the public and law enforcement. It does not attempt to solve the case or lean to a particular suspect. It is well researched and edited and the production is excellent. It is a very straight forward and well curated synopsis of the entire case. No sensationalism or speculation just a great historical recap. If you are new to Zodiac start here because much of what is available out there is highly biased and poorly researched content designed to attract views. Great job!
A lot of nonsensical plot holes, disjointed and formless story lines thrown together in a blender. Clearly not based on a book like season 1 but rather a tv writer effort to leverage the original. I kept watching in spite of it. It's not terrible but there are much better other spy thriller shows. Some notable standouts for acting were Javar and Solomon and Peter. The women in this series to me were portrayed as weak, emotional and frail. Too stereotypical. Everytime an obvious solution was presented they meandered down a new weird fork in the road. Watching this required a lot of patience but I didn't have anything else to do so...
The reason this is popular is because it is a very well produced and calmly presented documentary about people who claim to have seen Bigfoot. Because people speak without sensationalism and with conviction with a nicely edited production and excellent soundtrack, it can lead one to give credibility to the sightings. However, no evidence is actually presented other than stories so I would call this a documentary about folklore and people's belief in such. In other words the topic could have been ghosts or aliens or forest gnomes and it would have been equally interesting. But to reiterate, there is nothing credible presented that is evidentiary, it's just a series of stories overlaid on stock footage.
