Who is casting these films?! How many times do fans have to complain about how the quality of these movies before someone at lifetime listens?! Whoever is in charge of lifetime must not have watched an ounce of the movies back in the 90s. When they were good. Every movie since the early 2000s have been terrible! These girls look way too old be high schoolers. And why is that the blonde, who is the killer in real life, the victim and the brunette who is the victim in real life, the killer?! Anyway, this movie didn't need to be remade if this was how they were going to do it. Terrible.
I am think I am the one who from the beginning was very excited for the film. I was eager to know Cruella's story. I knew it was not going to be another 101 Dalmatian's film. Maybe I am biased because I am a huge Disney Villains fan. With that said, I was not disappointed with film. Stone's performance is phenomenal, so is Thompson's. The movie is all around entertaining. I always tell my kids, villains only seek to avenge to those who did them wrong, except Mike Meyers. LOL. Cruella is one the best movies this year.
Love the show despite not really liking Kim Fields matched with Mike Epps (odd casting choice) and their oldest daughter who over acts. Mike had me in tears. It is a great show! I hope it lasts for seasons to come.
Ok So I was really looking forward to seeing Cherie and Punky back again! And I do love the show, however aesthetically I am kind of disappointed that they let Punky's fashion spark sizzle. Her fashion is what made her stand out as Punky but now she dresses like a regular soccer mom just with mixed match converse. Even Margo whose signature look was to wear pink, was wearing a navy blue suit in her cameo, something that Margo would not be caught dead in. This show is off to a good start but it isn't great. Punky fans will definitely appreciate the nostalgia that each episode captures but there is still something missing besides Henry Warnimont, Betty Johnson and the real Brandon.
What a great educational show then and even now! It still hits some great relevant subject kids go through today. I love the fact it heavily brought adoption and made an older parent good enough to raise a kid. I am sad it ended only after 4 seasons. I wish the would've stuck around for a couple of more seasons. George Gaynes was such a great actor!! Soleil at the age of 7 was phenomenal! I just love the show and it really is timeless.
My goodness. I love Kenny Ortega (and his work) but with the exception of High School Musical. I don't like High School Musical, not even a little bit. I remember it being popular when I was in my twenties, so I had zero reason to watch back then. Now I am a Mom and my kids watched it...and I watched all 3 movies with them. Where do I begin? Even though this was a breakthrough role for Zac, everyone else fell short. Ashley Tisdale was awful and they really should've casted someone else to play Sharpay. All I kept thinking while watching her was nepotism. Secondly, the songs are TERRIBLE! It's a musical but every 5 minutes a TERRIBLE ballad come on. I wanted to peel my ears off of my head. I understand that the movie based on a teenage love story but the songs were too many awful ballads. Also, the styling was awful too. Kids don't dress like that and it being Disney I don't understand how the stylist got hired. I am not sure why this movie series is a hit...to this day. Just awful. You're not missing anything if you've never seen it.
I wish they would've put Etta James' original music in the movie. I mean Beyonce has her own songs and her own story to tell. Why would Beyonce that moment away from Etta? They should've used Etta's music. It's her voice and her story! Putting Etta's original songs would've added more to the movie.
