She Hate Me (2004) is an independent comedy-drama movie co-written and directed by Spike Lee and the movie was a steaming dumpster fire.
Positives for She Hate Me (2004): The movie has a good ensemble cast with Anthony Mackie, Kerry Washington, Ellen Barkin, Monica Bellucci, Jim Brown, Jamel Debbouze, Brian Dennehy, Woody Harrelson, Bai Ling, Q-Tip, Dania Ramirez and John Turturro. Anthony Mackie gives the best performance in the entire movie. That's all I've got to say for the positives of this movie.
Negatives for She Hate Me (2004): The movie doesn't know if it was to be a sex farce or a corporate greed fest. Aside from Anthony Mackie, the other characters are boring, annoying or uninteresting. There is barely any comedy in this movie and it is strange that this movie was being marketed as a comedy. The cinematography looks crappy and you can barely see anything. And finally, the story of this movie is unbearably boring.
Overall, She Hate Me (2004) is an ungodly dreadful and boring excuse for a movie and the worst movie in Spike Lee's filmography.

25th Hour (2002) is a drama movie based on the novel of the same name by David Benioff, who also wrote the screenplay and it was directed by Spike Lee. This movie was a first time watch for me and the movie was awesome.
Positives for 25th Hour (2002): This movie is carried by the lead performance by Edward Norton as the main character and he is the heartbeat of the movie. His character is someone who has to face the consequences of his actions, but he is trying to change his life with what little time he has until he has to go to prison and make a difference in the lives of several peoplenhe knows. You also have an awesome supporting cast with Philip Seymour Hoffman, Barry Pepper, Rosario Dawson, Anna Paquin and Brian Cox who are all amazing. The movie is an exploration on human emotion and how we react to it in various ways. I really enjoyed the journey I went on with Edward Norton's character and he is able to change into a better person for himself and everyone around him. And finally, I like the dream sequence montage at the end with Edward Norton's character raising a family with Rosario Dawson and living a good life.
Negatives for 25th Hour (2002): The one issue I have with this movie is that it is a little bit long and it feels drawn out for no reason.
Overall, 25th Hour (2002) was such an emotional and heartbreaking thrill ride with a great cast of actors and a filmmaker I like and I will definitely recommend this movie to everyone I know.

Bamboozled (2000) is a satirical dark comedy-drama movie written and directed by Spike Lee and it tells the story of a modern televised minstrel show with black actors donning blackface makeup and the resulting violent fallout from the show's success. This movie was a first time watch for me and it was pretty mediocre.
Positives for Bamboozled (2000): The idea of the movie is quite interesting and you can get some good laughs from it. The cast does a good job with thier performances from Damon Wayans, Savion Glover, Jada Pinkett Smith, Tommy Davidson and Michael Rapaport. The dark comedy is handled very well by the actors. And finally, the social commentary behind this idea is really good and it was handled in a good way.
Negatives for Bamboozled (2000): The movie is way too long for its own good and it didn't need to be. The overly satirical edge isn't going to work for everyone as it feels forced. And finally, the idea of black people doing blackface is hilariously bizarre.
Overall, Bamboozled (2000) is a mediocre satirical dark comedy-drama movie that is good and bad in almost every way possible.
