One of the coolest things about this program are the mid-century views of a very different California. That alone makes the program worth checking out.

Rod Cameron is not a grest Thespian, but he is well suited to the role he plays. Cameron has an ernestness an "heroic" attitude that makes him enjoyable to watch. Many of the best character actors of the period appear in the different episodes.

Unlike contemporary tv shows, violence is kept to a minimum. In the episodes I watched if there was violence it happened off camera. When characters were shot there was no blood or gore.

This is engaging entertainment that the whole family can watch.

It was hard to watch this movie. I felt like it was drowning in bad bleach jobs and really really bad hair extensions.

Another problem I had was with the three Central actors Alison Sweeny and Victor Websters are well past their "Hallmark Leads" period. They are both so long in the tooth they could more effectively play the PARENTS of the characters they played. Webster was lethargic. Through the entire movie he acted bored and very blase'.

Barbara Niven is scary to watch with her mass of bad hair extensions and affectations.

This could have been an enjoyable movie with any other set of Hallmark Actors.

It is good to see David James Elliot on tv again. He is the one redeeming reason to watch the big steaming pile of cliches.

There is absolitely nothing in this stale little rehash you have not seen many many times before. Every possible horror/Zombie cliche is recycled into this program.

They also toss in grapnic violence which does absoutely nothing to advance the plot.

Aside from Elliot, the rest of the cast are insignificant "actors" who are totally unsympathetic. It is. Really sad that any network would stoop so low as to offer this dreadful mess in Prime Time.

Do yourself. A favor and just pass on this rancid mess.
