Gary Oldham is just class in this, a real grotty git of a boss, I hate him, but love his sardonic wit.
As for the show it's going to be another Apple success, not on the Severance level but will be placed nicely for those who understand British humour. This won't be for everyone.
People should really IMDb the cast as it's pretty damn good. Olivia Cooke will be in House of the Dragon for example.
This is not a serious spy drama, or I'm not reading it that way, seems like a Micky take on what happens to those who fall foul of Ml5 and end up at Slough House.
All said and done it's certainly worth a watch and much better than the current crop of new shows.

It's still the Mother of all final episodes and so glad so many of you agree.
For me, watching it back then, how could I have known years later this episode would touch the lives of so many. For me Six Feet Under changed TV, along with The Sopranos and The Shield. It made what we have now, I truly believe this.
I mean that last 10 minutes with Sia Breathe Me playing was and is still astonishing.
I've played it back on YouTube over the years (dare you) and still cry like a baby.

Having been dazzled by Season 1/2, 3 was OK. But this opener was pretty poor. Was there any funny stuff? I used to have a good old chortle watching this show.
It must be in the water as pretty much most shows I'm watching have had poor seasons, must be a post COVID hangover. The one exception by far is Ozark.
I'll see this season out and hope it gets better.
