I AM SO GLAD THEY DIDN'T MAKE ELOISE INTO A "I'M NOT LIKE OTHER GIRLS" TYPE AND NOW SHE CAN BREATH AS A REAL FEMINIST. I hope they don't force a 'romance' between her and that self-involved guy. I truly hope that Eloise's uninterest in marriage will be respected in later episodes and seasons. Although, the way this show has been regarding romance I am indeed ñot hopeful.

The sexual tension is really ramping up in this episode. In general, the emotional stakes for my favourite characters, be it the protagonists or not, are flourishing.

Absolutely adore the way the plotline with Lord Featherington is involving. It's both sad and weirdly hilarious.

I respect Daphne's involvement in these affairs.

Shows the prevalence of rape culture, the megalomania and lack of self awareness of dudes like Travis and the easily manipulated ego of self aggrandizing men.

Once again Joseph does an actor's job and happy to see the addition of such a legend as Uma That man.

Can't wait for what's next!

What I love about Homelander is the truth to his power and influence.

This was a great origin story to such a character, since it depicts most realistically, as far as emotions go, and most gruesomely , regarding to the visuals and story , the reality of white cishet male ego. The constant refusal to do the moral thing just because his feelings are being hurt from the constructive criticism he receives and the heinous acts that happen because of he's insistence on self unawareness.

Would love for it to be expanded upon later on.
