The series was much better compared to the some of the recently released 'feel good' movies. It is a simple story that revolves mostly around two characters played by Suraj and Prashant. The episodes are paced very slow and relaxed but you wont feel bored. There are some stretches where there are no dialogues. The sets were stunning and the cinematography was excellent. They did a good job making everything look convincing, given how difficult it is to capture a story set years ago. I watched the movie with my parents and they also thoroughly enjoyed it. Everyone who was part of the movie including senior actors like Janardharan played their character really well. I was really happy to see him in a movie again. This is NOT a comedy series, it's a slow paced series that you can sit back, relax and makes you feel nostalgic.

There was this eerie, omnious music playing from beginning of the movie to the end. Even when theres nothing serious happening inna scene, suspenseful music is being played. If you watch it with your eyes closed, you'd mistake it for an alien invasion movie. After 30 minutes it becomes unbearable.

Setting that aside, everything else about the movie was average. The acting was good. There were some scenes that were confusing and doesn't add anything to the progression of the story. The investigation part was well portrayed and believable. Nothing exaggerated (except for the background music ofcourse)

The first time I watched the movie, after about 20 minutes I couldn't continue watching it. It felt like a rush. So many characters being introduced, so many lame jokes. The movie is shot and edited in a unique way. I'm not sure whether I like it or not. There are so many beautiful shots in this movie - like where they move the bed of the lead character, but at the same time some shots look like its from an advert.

I decided to give it a second chance because of amazing reviews from other people. The second part is where everything happens and story gets interesting. The story is very relevant in this day and age. There are still some unnecessary scenes in second half too, but much better. The make-up artist deserves a National Award or something. Even in close up scenes the makeup looked so perfect. Vijayarakhavan's and Leela's performances were commendable.
