I remember 7 years ago, when I was a teenager like 15-16 started watching this tv show. And as a muslim and more western teenager, it was too much for me, the whole scene: drugs, alcohol, sex. I was really excited back then. I almost fell in with every character and Carla was really what you could call it "elite". She was classy and beautiful rocked the acting skills and deserved so many followers by now. Samu was also perfectly developed character. Marina was something else. Lu and Nadia were the best duo of the series. 3 seasons (2017-2019) were my favorite ones. It started perfectly and ended perfectly the way it was. But they somehow decided to carry on with the series which was a pretty shi.ty idea but they could make it work. They introduced us to Patrick who was a really hot fella. Manu nailed the role. Samuel's death was also a bit off but at the same time, the best and darkest death of the whole series (coming after Marina, of course). Sixth season also got a bit off but Cruz was a perfect character, such a classy dad and a famous, handsome soccer player. Ivan and Patrick were also the perfect duo of the series. They had a great chemistry and that's such a waste. Then Isadora came who was decent but got a lot better by time. But in 7th season, they screwed it all up. The whole crew was irrelevant. I hated every single new character. Chloe, Eric, Sara and, by the way, Raul (thank god he died). They lack the aura. It was the worst season ever tbh. Then came this new character Joel who was also decent, started like a bit boring as a side character but then got the attention as a main character. Last season was really great and honestly I wasn't expecting that. This guy Hector character was perfectly developed by the actor. This stupid woman Carmen got boring and meaningless in this season. Btw this Luis character was really, badly screwed in this season. Why turn the protagonist into antagonist i don't understand. I mean that's a really bad move in film industry. But still the last season was so much better than the previous one. Throughout watching the last 3 seasons, there I had a some kind of nostalgic feeling about the absence of the characters and aura of the first 3 seasons. So, all in a nutshell, if I have to rate this tv series, I'm gonna have to rate it with the mean rating of the all seasons: Season 1 - 9/10; Season 2 - 9/10 Season 3 - 10/10; Season 4 - 8.5/10; Season 5 - 8/10; Season 6 - 8/10; Season 7 - 5/10; Season 8 - 8/10. And the mean score would be 8/10.

I wasn't waiting for this at all! Japan has always been known for 'inventing' technologies and others are just for 'plagiarising'. I do think that the same thing happened with this masterpiece. It didn't get the fame 'Squid Game' got which actually had reasonable motive to copy the fragments from the movie. After all, it's all about the power of the marketing. Simple excuse: 'the genre didn't appeal to all the audiences' But still, that's the best fantasy, mystery and thriller genre tv series I've ever watched so far. How hard the other competitors try to do better, It's the least likely that it will cease to be my bestie series of all time...
