Story- The story is amazing for the vast majority of the series. You will get baffled at the end but thats what makes this anime so memorable and though-provoking. It is very emotional and is perhaps very relatable in concerns to how characters feel about their surroundings and feelings.

Characters- The characters are basic at first, all except a certain pink-haired girl, all in which develop as the story goes on. Our male protagonist recieves a lot of development, along with his female other, both backstory and progressive. Others come to terms that their feelings are not normal and want to rid them away, and others seek pleasure in forming a family.

Score- It has excellent music and one of my favorite openings. The use of the piano during emotional moments and thriller music in an action scene make it balanced.

This is not an action anime, and is not meant to be one. The action sequences are used to progress the storyline. That said. It has one of the best messages an anime has ever shown. And even though you feel saddened by the ending, you continue to think about the message it conveys days after it.

The anime has an interesting setting, in which those of high social status live better than those below them (No Brainer) and all live within these domes where malevolent creatures are a threat. I enjoy the fact that our female protagonist has an internal conflict to deal with in the beginning of the anime, and later has both internal and external, as she bonds ever so slightly to her instructor.

I rate this an 8/10 because it has a great opening and ending music. The colors are beautiful and portray the characters in an appropiate manner. The anime is by no means boring, as event after event lead our protagonists to become closer. It is to be taken seriously but is not afraid to liven up the audience here and there so long as it is the time to do so. And it is a great story and a getaway from current mainstream anime.
