When I started watching this movie, honestly I do not have particularly high hopes for this motion picture because just few months ago I saw an another movie based on Chamkila's life called "Jodi" which was a good movie. But, I am now more impressed by this movie. I love the way they show the lyrics of the Punjabi songs translated into Hindi on the screen. I am also particularly pleased by the singing of Parineeti Chopra although I do feel like she was under utilised in this film. I love the parts where they showed the pictures/videos of Chamkila and Amarjot. Diljit gave an award winning performance. Overall it is an excellent film and perhaps the best Biopic that Bollywood have produced so far and certainly the best Netflix original film and best Indian streaming film yet.
