I liked the idea but the film doesnt lives up to it. The script is too bland as if someone has made a film for the first time, and worse execution.
I liked few dialogues like how Delhi bullies everyone and the metaphor of circular roads in New delhi.
However, no character was done justice to. Third grade cinema.

The Last Defenders
Srishti is National Award Winner. She has the passion to convey stories from the mountains of Uttarakhand and an amazing eye for art.
This documentary was amazing. It presents the legal and social system as is. How the women of mountains have to fend for themselves because the men are thousands of kilometres away for work. How the women have to take care of their children, their home and also their surroundings. How the policies change every year to bring economic investment. How the internet and social media empowers people. How corruption is ingrained in every institution. How there's still hope.
Dhami is being acclaimed for bringing foreign investment in Uttarakhand. I think bringing economic investment is not bad but should be dealt on case by case basis depending upon the cost to environment.
I loved how the women sang the folk song of hope while working on the fields.
