We have the opportunity to watch a semi-interesting series on D+, directed by Noah Hawley, who is also the author of the 2019 film "Lucy In the Sky", which I especially liked.
Judging by the first 3 episodes, the series is not entirely bad, it leans a lot of the original film, the original atmosphere is also well copied, but it suffers from all the modern diseases of Hollywood. Mostly not-likeable actors, copying all sorts of scenes from the original, serious plot holes, messing with the expansion of the story in attempt to get the impression that it is about something more complex than the original plot. We'll see if it will be any good, or if it will fail ingloriously, like everything else Disney gets its hands on.
By all accounts, so far it is somewhat better than all the sequels of the "Alien" franchise, excluding of course the first two movies.

Unfortunately, despite the many good scenes from real Formula 1 races, which is the only value of this film, we basically got another empty-headed production with Brad Pitt, so whoever likes to watch him, go ahead. His films have long since become just a decor in which our favorite actor has something to do. Everything in the film is completely wrong, together with the story, which is both completely predictable and worthless, and everything in the film is as it is not in reality.
The real question is why would Joseph Kosinski, who we remember as having directed the likeable Oblivion in 2012, as well as the recent hit Top Gun Maverick in 2022, sign under such an unimaginative product? But okay, I guess it is quite legitimate these days to swim or float in the Hollywood toadstool, as everyone chooses for him/herself.
In short, while Formula 1 fans have nothing to look forward to, fans of the famous actor have reason to watch it, if that's good enough for them.

This movie is just another testament to how Disney ruined Marvel, in every sense. There is nothing to say about this kind of work, with a script like this that could have been written better by AI, actors who have no chemistry with each other, nor do they have any depth, not to mention character development through the story. Pedro Pascal is acting Pedro Pascal. Vanessa Kirby is another girl boss who is actually a main character in the Fantastic Four. The other actors are not worth mentioning. Silver Surfette is a failure that should be forgotten as soon as possible.
The only positive thing that can be said is the aesthetics and setting of the plot in the 1960s, which is somewhat endearing, especially to viewers of Hanna-Barbera's Jetsons. Everything else is simply uninteresting, uninspiring and generic, and deserves no further comment.
The setting itself, according to which the main actors are all Disney princesses, and the audience as presented in the movie should just adore them, follow everything they do, listen to what they are told, and sympathize with them, even though there is no empathy on their part towards the rest of humanity, apart from concern for their own look, public appearances and personal problems, is in itself very problematic, because it is presented as something that is taken for granted in the modern world. Sorry, but as much as Disney wants it, I don't think we're there yet.
Another note, as some attentive viewers have already noticed, to translate one unknown language into another, which is one of the main plot tread of the film, it is not enough to know three or four words. Neither advanced technology nor AI can help here, otherwise we would already have translated e.g. Etruscan, Linear A and Proto-Elamite scripts from known human history. But that's certainly the least of the problems for this complete flop.
I have to admit that, as it is, even the new James Gunn's Superman is much more watchable than this poor achievement.
