I laughed, I cried, I was angry, I was filled with warmth. This anime made me feel so many emotions.
Let's start with the story. The show does a really good job of introducing unique and flavourful characters that you quickly become interested in. The author does an incredible job of letting you into the mind of the MC to really understand what is going on, which also makes it a lot easier to feel empathic towards him.
That leads a bit into the character development, which this show has plenty of. You really watch the characters struggle, fight (mentally), and grow each episode which makes the anime so much more interesting to watch. It's also one of the few series that has actually made me cry tears of pure sadness, for characters that don't even exist. But the series is just incredibly good at immersing you in it.
The music is also beautiful, really enhancing the mood and making the scenes more emotional. 9/10 would recommend!

Out of all the anime genres out there, I especially love sports-ones. Though I have to say I didn't expect golf to be included in those sports. However, I thought I might as well give it a shot and it turned out to be great.
The characters are very nicely written. The anime is serious but also a bit goofy at times, which does fit the childish but serious theme of Gawain, the MC. And what I love about this series is it's tempo. It doesn't waste ANY time with its storytelling and generally Gawain's skill in golf progresses at a fast rate which constantly keeps you entertained. The anime also does a good job of keeping the golf-courses entertaining and often introduces wild, innovative and visually beautiful courses that the players have to tackle. This in combination with the good fast-paced storytelling made the golf-games incredibly intense and fun to watch with psychological battles and actual physical struggles. That is incredibly impressive, especially for an anime about golf.
Maybe a bit of a cliché anime since the MC basically has superpowers, but I still enjoyed it a ton. It's a very nice feel-good anime. Would recommend to anyone that likes a good sports-anime. Looking forward to what they will do with s3.

A horrendous start to an otherwise interesting story. Would have lost interest in the series if it weren't for a friend who had watched the entire show. However things started to turn around at about episode 5. The fight scenes in this anime are fun and overall nice to watch. The characters are very well developed, and the way the anime jokes around with certain things are really fun, got quite a few laughs from the series. The story about the two parts of Kageyama is a very unique and interesting way to tell the story, and overall it turns out very nice with the last episode being a banger. Not my favourite anime by a long shot, but still a very good one, and I am glad that I watched it.
