Deviod of any artistic integrity. Deviod of any entertainment value. It beggars belief that a sequel to the terrible first film was ever made.
Perhaps if I had written a review around the time of this film's release I would have scored it a deserving 8/10. The fact that, decades later, it has endured as a quality piece of film making that continues to tap into our deepest sentiments, scores it an extra point.
Although in places it is forced to change course from Ken Kesesy's source material in order to comply with film format, it does so with tact and satisfies all the book's intentions of its cross-examination of society.
