I am writing this 6 years after the movie was released. I do not see the point in doing that but did not see much of a point in story either.
Lest we forget: The basic and only ploy in story - asking someone to pretend being a lover, fiancé of spouse to deceive a parent or grandparent to stop pressuring for marriage (or get inheritance) is an age old storyline in Hindi cinema (Manchali, Naukar Biwi Ka, many other movies from last century). The fact that it is done in a new ambience does not make it a novel idea. The two people in the fake couple here are far too different for this to make sense. They are different age-group (almost different generations), different social class (man lives with four other men in a shared shack made of corrugated tin; the woman is studying to be a chartered accountant and lives with her parents in upper middle class dwelling with a live-in maid), and different religions. Why they would connect other than the fact that woman sees him as a decent soul is not clear.
How the couple go from just pretending to be engaged to deceive grandma to then going and watching movies together (while the woman is preparing for a very competitive exam) is never quite clear.
Why is the woman in a state of perpetual melancholy when she is not with the man is never explored. The man that is living below poverty line suddenly starts traveling everywhere in taxis.
About 1/10th or screen time is devoted to the man trying to find an out-of-production soda drink to indulge the woman's nostalgia. Then he gets a bottle of it. Then nothing happens.
Then there are the Bollywood stereotypes - the sexual predator coach is well to do Hindu, the decent-soul photographer is a poor Muslim, the arranged marriage proposal is entirely about status and class system, etc.
Saving grace are the stellar acting by lead pair (Sanya outshines Nawaz) and the ensemble, the ambience, the small moments, the realism.
Would have been a great movie with a more detailed story-line and a bit more to convince why these two characters connect in spite of how different their worlds are.

Cliff hanger of season 2 was which of the identical twins died in gun-fight.
The "survivor" of the duel is shown in the third episode of Season 3 watching the final sequence of "Don" - where the SRK version is a sharp departure from AB version. That, I thought was the most brilliant moment of the season so far.
A lot of characters of first two seasons had served their purpose. That made possible for many others to become forces that drive the story and creat new alliances and rivalries.
The violence is too violent and some repetitions could have been avoided.
Over all a very satisfactory affair.
