I have been waiting for another show to come around that is genuinely just fun to watch. It's funny, with a good plot and subplots; the music is actually good, and this show is just so easy to watch. The characters are so believable in the situations they are going through, and the acting is good for the harder things, too. I love it.

I was super excited about watching the show as I have read the book series, but the show left much to desire. A LOT of tiny edits were made which are definitely understandable as it is so hard to make a tv adaptation. But the overall portrayal of some characters and the acting feel off. 6 episodes made the series feel incredibly rushed. Going by the book the entire story lasted months, but the series made it feel like a couple weeks. I think if it was a 10 episode series it would make the story line better. It would have also helped with describing the in-depth research Pip does do and how the police couldn't have figured it out using the same methods, since she worked outside of the law on multiple occasions.
