This is the first David Lynch film I've seen. After his passing I felt like I ought to check out his work and decided to start with his first movie.

To start, I'll say that this is truly the most bizarre thing I have ever watched. It's like Lynch took the the most twisted, unfinished pieces from the depths of my mind - things I wished would never come to fruition - and brought them out on the screen. For that, I will give him credit for creating something that can make me feel so uncomfortable and confused.

However, I must say that I personally did not enjoy what was happening on the screen at all. I don't always think there needs to be a deeper purpose to a film, or that films must have some sort of concrete narrative, but whatever Lynch was going for I simply did not find any enjoyment in.

Again, I think it is impressive that someone could create something so bizarre and deeply disturbing, but I don't like the way I am felt during it, nor how I am feeling after it.

Let me begin by saying this - I saw the 5.8 rating, and was obviously expecting a bad movie. I watched the trailer, it looked ridiculous, but it seemed entertaining. I enjoy watching bad movies, and was hoping this would be a "good" bad movie.

Somehow, this movie was exponentially worse than my already bad expectations. There are few times where I actually get frustrated while watching a movie. This was one of those times. There was absolutely no continuity throughout the entire movie. The plot makes zero sense. We don't understand who these characters are, what the hell they do, why they're together, or what their motives are. I have more questions after the conclusion of this movie than I did at the start.

All this movie needed was some cool fight scenes and some DMX songs spinrkled throughout. I cannot recommend this movie to anyone.

I saw this pop up on crunchyroll and after reading the description I laughed and figured why not give it a shot. A few hours later, and here I am writing a 10/10 review for this show that I am now fully caught up on. This show is fantastic!! They do a great job of developing the characters and conveying meaningful messages in each episode.

The show isn't strictly focused on comedy, nor drama, nor any one thing too much. It's an extremely unique watch! I enjoyed watching every episode, and although it was quick to catch up - I really do wish the episodes were longer. The way the characters teach other and appreciate what each individual brings to the table is so cool and also heartwarming. This show just consistently made me feel good while watching it. I feel like I was smiling for 90% of the time I spent watching.

I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a new show, regardless of what your typical genres are.
