Rick Riordan complained about the movies for changing the story, yet he did the same thing to an arguably worse degree. The acting is stilted, there is absolutely no suspense since the heroes figure out every problem immediately, the action scenes are awful and last all of thirty seconds, the dialogue is cringe-inducing, mostly consisting of terrible exposition, the characters have no depth, the editing is a mess, the score is lame, and the CGI is offensively bad. Everything about this show and the circumstances sicken me to my core, and yet the Riordan stans pretend this is a masterpiece and faithful to the book. I can't wait for this to be cancelled.
