RM's music & lyricism has been part of my cocktail of music taste these last 7 years. And with the experience comes the knowledge that the music video will contain more than meets the eye. Therefore, when looking at this music video the expectation of what trip we'd be taking grew. Let's just say the director did an amazing job bringing to life RM's Lost!
The over the top introduction, the labyrinth of emotions, the retro feel, RM taking the place of key people throughout. The director brought this rollercoaster of emotions to light. Conveying being lost in the most Namjoon way possible!
However, we are never truly lost. It's about embracing the whole. Once again RM brings us back to Map of the Soul. To the many sides inside of us. The four characters that accompany him throughout: the Anima/Animus (feminine side), the Shadow, the Persona, and the Self. Lastly it is him, RM, the human/person. And while we see the artist RM being brought on stage by the "ladder" created by the four archetypes, there are many parts of him making him a complex human being with good and bad, just like everyone else. Always having to navigate through life feeling lost while also being an artist (persona) we all expect him to be.
The MV brings all of this to the forefront in a very real yet artistic way. Truly a great video that walks us through "Namjoon's brain", as it is made obvious to the viewer from the start. Pure art!!!

When you get into BTS, you realize how hard those boys work. So, to have a show that allows them to relax, sort of, and enjoy doing the things they've wanted to do AND travel to places they wish the could go, or discover hidden jewels in their own Korea, then you know it will be good.
It's entertaining to see them have fun, play games, read, dance, and just be goofy. This season also gave us a look at their improv talents. As well as, Suga the producer! Plus you get to see them grow their bond as brothers. Pure joy! A MUST watch if you've fallen down the rabbit hole that is this Bangtan life. 💜
