Poor Dom. He comes every time Jean snaps her fingers for help. He does as she says. He does things for her.
But when he plays music for her that he loves and makes him happy...she just blows him off and acts like he's an idiot. Barely listens and talks down to him.
She's self-centered and doesn't care about anything unless she's the center of attention and she's being the smart one in the room. I really really disliked her character treating Dom like that.

As a big fan of Vera and Midsomer Murders I thought I would watch another British detective show from Acorn. I found this show to be mindless fun...not in anyway deep or serious.
The main character is a bit overboard...she knows everything about everything. Basically she is the only one in the town that has any clue about clues. It does bother me that to make Jean able to solve all the crimes they dumb down everyone in the town. I have to question how Major Caron managed to solve any crimes before Jean arrived. Dom is portrayed as a bumbling idiot and Jean treats him like a child.
Other background characters provide comic relief and occasionally find the bodies. Judith and Jeremy are getting old with their over-the-top antics. Gloria, Niall and his wife are just background noise And the music! It's from 80s porn! I cringe when it plays.
Again...mindless fun.

Too many teams and they all say the same things and do the same things. It's fun when the first teams arrive at a challenge and then they move on. Then it gets confusing (and boring) when teams are arriving at the first challenge and the lead teams are done, completed other challenges and have checked in. It's just too much to keep up with.
At least the challenges were fun.
There doesn't seem to be any tension between any teams. They're all getting along. Which...is...boring. I haven't seen any breakout teams like previous seasons.
Not looking forward to this new thing called a 'Driver's Seat.' Just sounds like a way to stir up trouble.
