The documentary is about the balloon boy incident. I remember when it was on the news and already knew the story before watching this. What bothers me the most about it is how scummy the parents and kids looked during their interviews. They claimed the son crawled and fell asleep in a hot attic(of all places) and coincidentally came out after the balloon landed. The son also showed in an old interview video how he supposedly climbed inside the attic and didn't look like he was able to climb inside by himself without any help. Also in the family interview, the son appeared to have slipped up and said that their stunt was for a show and the family tried to gaslight their way out of it. The parents also kept making excuses for their suspicious behavior. The father failed a polygraph test and claimed that his diabetes played a role in it. The mom also failed a polygraph and appeared to have confessed that it was a hoax in an interrogation but later blamed her answer on her lack of knowledge in English. Particularly with the word hoax. Despite having a degree in English and also lived in America for years and married to an American. The son who went missing did his own interview and kept smirking throughout and tries to gaslight people for taking issue with his claim that it was for show answer in that old tv interview. It was also established that the parents have a history of trying to be on tv. They appeared in wife swap and also wanted to have their own show. Like cmon people.
