This show has some aspects that are done quite well like the shooting and weapon handling. It gets over shined by the glaring "woman so strong can do nothing wrong" mentality that it leaves them looking really dumb and fall for every trick in the book. Its as simple as "oh no the group that's shown they cant be trusted lied to us again the only way forward is to trust them even more" If you can get passed that its fun. The gun play is pretty good but has plot armor for the character's. In one scene they are all powerful and in the next they are incompetent and let anything happen to drive the plot fun but the forced diversity and casting make women look incompetent.

Typical video game remake just awful full of changes for no reason, bad casting and cheezie CGI. I don't recommend watching it, when i seen it i was the only one in the theater. They didn't get the real voice actor for claptrap. Instead getting jack black. While he's amazing but there wasn't a point in using him over the real voice actor. Roland is supposed to be a soldier, stoic and leader but is instead played by kelvin hart just like jack black good choice but why? They change the whole backstories of the siren and tiny tina but for no good reason. What could have been a grate film was ruined by committee.

Typical video game movie. Didn't care about source material with story or characters. It was clear they were just doing it for a pay check. There was a few cool thing but very small and far between. If they would have done it like fall out where its set in the same universe but a different untold story with maybe a few characters that hold over. However we get a weird hybrid where its the same characters at least by name. But build, age and back stories are different. As for the stories its a lot of retcons and weird plot that changes everything from the games. What really sets the tone for the movie is instead of getting the real voice actor they got jack black.
