I was so excited going into this movie. For 4 years I've been waiting for this one. I was sadly disappointed. Even though I wasn't expecting a story driven movie, the plot is surprisingly dull. The action at times was cool, but I felt the camera movement was too much. I just don't think the action was up to what Gareth is capable of. I do think some of it might be because of the bigger names in the film. I still felt the choreography could have been better. It never felt like the main characters were in any danger. The Netflix cgi is always strange to me and doesn't look real at all. I hate to even talk about one of my favorite director's work like this, but it is what it is. I was sadly disappointed. I also didn't help myself by watching the raid movies before this one.
The WORST episode in the show so far, by a mile. It almost felt like a joke at times. It doesn't fit the show whatsoever. Lale has been one of my favorite characters since the show started and this did not help her fandom at all! I would call this the ultimate filler episode. I hope this subplot is not fleshed out because it's laughable. We get the awesome 4th episode and then this right after. It makes no sense at all! I agree with what other people are saying, skip this episode and act like it doesn't exist. This show is at its best when it's not trying to do the most plot wise, in my opinion. This episode was the definition of the MOST. Ugh.
This film made me ball my eyes out while I was with a girl. The rawness of it is just outstanding. I don't think I've seen another movie that moved me like this one, BRAVO.
