Wow just wow.
I've been waiting 3 long years for this season and I'm glad to inform you that this has been worth the wait, this episode proves that when you think of a good idea you also need to execute it well, and let the characters be the driving force of the narrative, and this episode does just that.
There's a form of comfort that each and every frame was carefully crafted to elicit some emotional reaction from the viewer(funnily enough just like the MDR team), and during this episode I wasn't lackadaisical for even a second, something that is very hard to accomplish from a director's perspective in today's television, moreover with the short attention span we as viewers have.
Everything in this episode is done by the book and beyond, we are witnessing a revolution in tv mark my words.
Do yourselves a favor and watch this if you haven't, even if you don't like this show I'm sure you'll understand the points I'm bringing up.

Wow, absolutely mind bending episode so much is going on!
So I won't discuss specifics here since I believe it to be a crime against humanity to spoil this masterpiece of a show without spoiler warning so I'll just say this: This episode does everything right by the book, it offers the viewer a sufficient amount of answers at face value, meaning things that are being explained on screen(visually or verbally)without delving too much into the details to decode them, while also rewarding those who are curious enough to speculate and theorize on what's to come with hidden gems scattered all around the episode with connections to the previous season.
Needless to say the cinematography is superb and captivating(but this is no surprise from a tv show like Severance).
So overall I feel optimistic about what's ahead, and I hope you'll enjoy this episode as much as I did(if you're curious why a 9 instead of 10 then the only thing bothering me was that I waited 3 years for it XD)

If you are a fan of the franchise(I believe we can already call it a franchise), than I suggest you'll check out the "Creep Tapes", chilling atmosphere and unexpected climax is guaranteed just like the previous movies, truly a delight to any horror fan.
As of me writing this review only the first two episodes are available, but still this has been a ride worth waiting for, they are absolutely incredible, Mark Duplass steals the show with his natural charisma and convincing acting ability, to the point you truly can't tell the difference between what's fake and what's not, it truly feels like watching a serial killer's murder tapes.
