The film that I haven't seen anyone talking about till now but still I wanted to watch. And after 7 years I have watched it now. I personally feel this movie is underrated. This film was an average grosser at the theatres despite good hype generated before release. I think the film was promoted in wrong way. People expected a romantic movie from the title could have been dissapointed. The film is a kind of bitter or black comedy with lots of confusion and twist and should have been promoted in such a way rather a romantic movie. Tamil btter comedy movie like manmadhan ambu also was an average grosser as the people wasn't familiar with the genre bitter comedy. Both these movies aren't perfect but does justice to its genre and both the movies couldn't do very well at the box office.

The only think I didn't like about the movie was the cliche motive for the twist rest all was good watch. This movie is not everyone's cup of tea but should try watching if you want to explore this genre(Bitter Comedy)

EVEN AFTER 15 YEARS OF IT'S RELEASE IT STILL REMAINS UNDERRATED AND MANY STILL HAVENT WATCHED IT .THE 6.7 RATING AND 41 VOTES FOR THIS MOVIE DOESNT JUSTIFY HOW GREAT IS THIS SMALL FILM. HOPE IT GAINS RECOGNITION IN FUTURE. AWESOME PERFORMACES FROM ALL THE CAST. SHOBANA , SURESH GOPI , VINAYAKAN AND BABY RIEHANA HAVE DONE A MEMORABLE PERFORMANCE. LOVED IT.

Story is a something different but somewhat hyped as well and made in commercial way to appeal the fans. But should not miss it in theatres. I found it better than Vijay's previous movies like Bigil and Sarkar. You can find a Lokesh touch in the film may be not like Maanagaram or Kaithi but Still worth watching the movie for his story and direction and the performances of Vijay and VJS.
