Season 1 of stick is about up and down as it gets. Starting with a promising pilot before going a bit downhill for a few episodes. Yet ultimately ends up being a good season of television. Simple, feel good story with a lot of heart and great comedic moments from everyone. Mitts and Pryce are especially standouts as you can truly feel their relationship and what they've been through. Santi is who the audience should sympathize with the most throughout the season. He has moments when he's downright unlikable but it's understandable what he's been through. If Cecilia on the 18th doesn't make you feel something I don't know what will. Excited for more.
This is easily the best episode so far. Ares might be my favorite character introduced at this point he was perfectly cast and both hilarious and unsettling. The main 3 continue to become more comfortable with each other and the roles that they are playing. They all have real chemistry especially between Percy and Annabeth. The minor tweaks in the episode worked well and made thing easier to adapt to the screen. I personally have no issues with these changes seeing how they come directly from Rick Riordan himself and don't affect the story too harshly. This show just keeps getting better and I'm here for it and excited for what's to come.
