I was really excited for this movie seeing as the previous Captain America movies were all solid staples in the MCU. The cast in my opinion did their best to carry this movie but the direction from the top was lacking. It seems like the story for this movie got lost and the plot was nonexistent. There was no one scene that stood out. The villain was not really a threat and super under played. The whole film seemed like it was scrapped together in the editing room days before its release. I mean there is a whole scene at the end with the two main characters and the shots are just messy. You've got the lead of the movie on the screen and you have half his head cut off for a speech. Marvel needs to make some changes on who is sitting on top as the stories and direction of this franchise is not it right now. Given the actors in this movie deserve a ton of praise for carrying it and I'm still super excited to see Mackie lead a team of Avengers, I would like to see marvel do this man justice after this mess that should have been a special presentation on streaming not a 2 hour movie with the lazy writing and unclear direction. Marvel needs to remember that this is what happens when you rush something before you have a full idea.

Started this show with the idea that it would be a big bright colorful background noise. I was pleasantly surprised. I was very well aware of the game growing up but not being a PlayStation owner I didn't have much excitement for this show as I wouldn't have the slightest clue for what was happening. Listen if you've got a few days (or hours if you're a binge freak) and want something fun this is your show. If you take things too serious than look the other way.

Positives: Great characters. Great pace. A few good laughs. 2000's Nostalgia music

Negatives: a few minor plot holes that make you scratch your head.
