As someone said in one of the previous reviews, don't even start watching it. The characters are likable and the first episodes are pretty good so you'll want to continue. But then it all goes downhill. The story is preposterous. There are too many lose ends, too many things that don't make sense. They don't explain everything well. Episode 7 is a total snooze (I skipped most of it). I wasn't going to finish the show but I can never not finish something. The last episode might be the worst of all. I honestly just had to finish the series since I had already wasted my time. A shame because the first episodes where really good!

"Based on a true story" started off strong, capturing the audience's attention with its enjoyable and engaging storyline. However, the series took a disappointing turn in the final episode. It felt as though the director imposed strict time constraints on the production, resulting in a rushed and haphazard conclusion. Everything seemed crammed into that last episode, leaving the viewers bewildered and unsatisfied. The ending was particularly puzzling, lacking coherence and failing to provide a meaningful resolution. It's a shame that such a promising show faltered in its final moments, leaving the audience feeling confused and let down.
