Let me begin by saying, that is one of the most gorgeous things I've seen! You can't deny the magic of theatrical when it's done right, and it is right this time! I love when the expensive-looking CGI can be traversed with tracking shots, but it's often difficult because it requires the visual effect to be more on the practical side. And that is exactly what they did!

The cast on the other hand, is more divisive for me. Ariana Grande carries everything she's been put into, harder than anybody could've asked for! She almost makes me want to demand her on everything in the future, but then i realized that is the exact recipe for disaster the MCU has been suffering from. The rest of the gang acted like they knew that they were in a play. Well, except for Elphaba, the titular character who's so down to earth the entire time, i don't feel like she's even wanted to be in this movie.

There are a couple of great songs; the rest is enough. The theme of identity is also great; If the ancient which hunt can bring the worst of us, this movie encouraged us to be the best. Sadly, the third act is rushed. They had all the right ingredients to top Barbie in my opinion, but they've chosen the cliche and incomplete route, making them inferior.

How come somebody who's just got booted out of comic movie production because of excessiveness, able to produce something more lore accurate than its famous, comic character's counterpart? Twilight of the Gods, it's the middle finger response from Zack Snyder to the superhero movie industry in general! I've learned so much more about Thor & friends in this, than any other high-end media today.

It's cool to hate him nowadays. And sure, i can agree that Rebel Moon it's a passionate garbage. But it doesn't muddled the fact, that nobody can do mythology like Zack Snyder! Its raw, faithful and heroic! They've taken the Nordic legends and doing everything right to justify it place in our modern eyes. And i can also confidently say that this series has one of the most beautiful animation this year!

Some problems i had with it, is that sometimes it can be pretty formulaic. Stuff goes way too fast, it makes the massive scope feels smaller. Also some of the middle episodes feels like an unnecessary side missions. But it's a normal price to pay when you comprising such a huge mythology into sizable bites!

Needless to say, I finish this in one sitting.
