Being a SF fan first and foremost, I grab anything new that comes along but, sadly, I simply cannot find any new or innovative storylines just a rehash of old stuff.
Mickey 17 is flat, no new ideas and acting that at times feels almost cringe worthy.
There are so many great SF authors whose writings would simply wow audiences and would not need huge budgets or masses of CGI, just great stories.
I write this as I cannot even remember watching M17 only that I had hoped the end might save it but, alas, all I remember was "well that was a waste of my time" followed by at least the ending credits being a highlight.

Started off ok but fell to desperate lengths once the divide occurred, impossibly far fetched and the end was so cringe worthy as to not even place it with 1950s Sci Fi movies.
The pace was slow with a thin line between utter garbage to whatever the level below that is.
The choreography was lame with nothing but shots of gyrating hips and buttocks.
Demi must be unable to score a decent movie anymore with Qualley, although adding superb eye candy, did very little to lift her acting above fair.
The only saving grace for me (being a male) was the addition of a fanfare of breasts, but that was all it was good for.
