This is one of the worst film I've seen from a successful horror franchise ever. I was in shock with how atrocious the acting, directing, effects, and story was. The story goes in some baffling directions, it's like the writers had never seen a creeper film in their lives. I literally wanted the Creeper to reach through the screen and rip my eyes out to keep me from watching this eye sore. The green screen is so horribly distracting and just takes you out of it.
AND THE KILLS!!! The kills are even worse. How can you mess that up?! Since when does the Creeper use a bear trap? In a house?! Please just put this franchise out of its misery. No competent director will touch this project with a 100 ft pole.

This is one of the best shows that I've seen period. From beginning to end! The horror isn't just supernatural, but the true horrors of America's past as well. Everything is masterful, from camera work, to story telling, and acting. Had a few negatives such as audio in various scenes and a couple loose ends but overall Them is amazing and will definitely be one to recommend. Disclaimer: Not for the squeamish.
The dark and the wicked grips you in the beginning, but as the film goes on the grip loosens more and more. It's missing a key ingredient, a compelling story. I'm all for slow burns, but give me solid characters, that way I feel more for them instead of just nodding my head as they die on screen. There was a few times where I thought "gee someone else would've shot this scene a whole of a lot better." I just thought this film was a total bore, don't go in with high expectations. I saw that 90 on rotten tomatoes and thought I must've misread it as a 40.
