I gave this movie a chance based on clips i saw elsewhere. It goes one forever before it ever even attempts to make a story. Needlessly bad politics which is funny because someone wrote this think their views were good. Basically instead of a bad boring movie made by the Daily Wire, it's like if young turks made a bad and boring movie but let zealous Berkeley grad student write it.
The characters were are bland and boring, typical socialist boogeymen that provide a nice straw man to allow the terrible plot to happen, and man do these straw men get embarrassed because they make money or something.
It's pretty obvious that the writers and makers had zero idea about anything in the movie except marxist propaganda. In no way would anyone in the positions they were in make the choices they made. They knew nothing about the fashion industry, they knew nothing about sailing, nothing about fishing, nothing of hunting, nothing of history, nothing of psychology. There's a reason why every time they actually do something in the movie it's off screen and then they just say that it was done. The only thing the writers seemed to have any knowledge on was being in the service industry & i'm guessing they were pretty bad at it but thought they were the best.

This episode pretty much sums up the show. The production is outstanding and Pedro Pasqual is a national treasure. However the problem with this episode like the rest of the season is they add too much backstory that pushes needed parts of the story out of the episode. The show is 1hour long but yet this episode was only around 45 mins long. If you're going to add so much backstory then you really need to add more episodes. They had to cut out so much plot and bonding moments so they could fit a 15 episode show into 9 mediocre episodes. There were some great aspects of this show, there really was. Unfortunately if you're being honest with yourself you really can't call this a great show. I'm not sure what will happen in season 2 but hopefully they correct it.
