Keeping this as unspoilery as possible.
I had my doubts going into this show. I heard so many people claiming it was great. At the time I was a stupid Owl House stan so I couldn't imagine it being as good. Well, it certainly proved me wrong.
I honestly love this show. Many people complain about the slow burning plot or the 'filler' (I prefer the term slice of life) episodes, but for what it is, it's still a great show. The episodic parts of season 1 are good, some are better than others but the humour is consistently enjoyable.
However, the overarching plot and character dynamics are what make it shine. It might play the long game with these elements, but they work really well in my opinion. This is thanks to the shows continuity. I'll add that it also feels like the characters and their relationships grow and shift at a natural pace throughout the show.
Season 2 really upped the ante, with much better (and more relevant) slice of life episodes and a bigger focus on the plot, culminating in the incredible season 2 finale, which I honestly believe to be one of the best episodes I have ever seen in a cartoon.
Admittedly, season 3 has disappointingly killed a lot of the momentum from season 2 so far, however it does start to pick up again and currently seems to be heading into the business end of things with the plot, so I'm still comfortable rating this show a 10/10. Let's hope it stays that way by the end.
I highly recommend you give it a chance. I can't guarantee you'll like it as much as I do. Go onto the show with neutral expectations. If you like it, great. If you don't, I'd say give it a chance to find its footing a bit down the line, but there's obviously no problem with not liking the show. Just give it a shot and go from there.
TL;DR: a highly enjoyable slice of life series with hints of an overarching plot that really come into play in the second season. I recommend you give it a fair shot and see how you feel about it.

This is one of the best episodes of anything I have ever seen. I'm going to keep this short since there's not much I can say that hasn't been said already.
This. Is. Brilliance. Incarnate.
I genuinely do not know what to write to do it justice. It went above and beyond what I could have ever expected from a cartoon in more ways than one. I will remember this for a very long time. For me, this is truly a perfect episode. This is as good as season finales get. The characters, the dialogue, the voice acting, the visuals, everything was just incredible. T. J. Hill's soundtrack was outstanding towards the end of the episode as well. Truly amazing stuff.
