Extremely boring tried to give it a genuine chance but this has to be one of the stupidest, most uninspired, contrived, poorly written, and even worse acted I've ever seen. I'm usually not one to watch a rom com but can certainly appreciate high level artistry when I see it such as La La Land or 10 Things I Hate About You, and this couldn't be farther from that. The jokes are simply not funny and reads like a 50 year old man who just discovered sex for the first time. He's clearly high on the smell of his own farts because instead of writing anything with earnestness or conviction he relies on the bottom rung, teenage sexual humor that you would expect to see from Seth Rogen 30 years ago. The actors certainly aren't doing anything to elevate this film and the lead male actor couldn't lead a herd of sheep if he tried. He says his lines like he's reading off a teleprompter while simultaneously trying to act like what he thinks an actor should act like. It feels more like a student film done by a horny teenager than a movie with real depth. I am writing this review while watching this movie and this might be the most disappointed I've been watching a film. Hopefully you enjoy this more than I did.

This is the most joy and excitement I've felt watching a comic book superhero film or any film for that matter since seeing Dune part 2. It is not often a movie comes to cinema nowadays that rally's up the spectrum of emotions as this film manages to do with ease. This film will make you laugh, smile, and teary eyed in its 2 fast paced hours of run time. There is not one moment where the action lets up but it's not just physical action but also emotional and psychological action as well which helps build up the character dynamics, thematic elements and the overall mythology of the film. James Gunns screenplay expertly toes the line between comedic and serious, light hearted and dramatic which makes for a very engaging film. The dialogue is well written and delivered expertly by an ensemble of talented character actors led by David Corenswet and Nicholas Hoult. These two leading men provide immaculate performances as Superman and Lex Luthor respectively providing the film a sense of gravitas not usually seen in comic book films. Rachel Brosnahan delivers a superb turn as Lois Lane as the 3rd lead/1st supporting character and brings a breathtaking amount of charm, wit, aptitude, integrity and audacity that I hadn't anticipated. Lois is fully her own woman with agency and stakes in the film and the way she makes journalism appear cool to a new generation is heartwarming. The rest of the cast filled out with Edi Gathegi, Nathan Fillion, and Isabela Merced making up the justice gang provide fun, memorable character performances that linger with you long after the credits. Edi Gathegi's Mr. Terrific is certainly a standout of the film and deserves special praise and regonition. Overall the film was amazing and everyone ought to see as soon as possible on the biggest screen possible. Up, Up and Away!

This movie is the epitome of what it means to have a spiderman movie. This is not only a movie but an experience. From the web slinging, to the skylines shots, to the lighthearted this movie is a tribute to the legendary comics created by Stan lee. If you ever imagined what a live comic book would look like it would be this. This is 100% the best comic book movie ever made. I'm not saying it's the best super hero movie per se but in terms of bringing a comic book to life this movie has done it better than all the rest. All the story lines made sense and the drama and action were on point. Do your self a favor and watch this! Way better than the first one as well can't wait to see what else is in store.
