I never thought that I would say something like this about anything written by SK. I used to love everything he did.

But I was expecting so much more. With a story line that could have mixed Shawshank Redemption with Carrie and even Firestarter I was expecting something in the lines of Castle Rock...Was that the name?, obviously not that transcendental either.

Maybe we grew older and nothing is the same anymore, particularly in the horror genre.

What happened with the end and teaser of Castle Rock, nothing...so this is more of the same nothingness.

Well acted, cute people but that's enough.

Boring, predictable, disjointed... Hollywood, it's over, let's assume and accept it as a fact.

Being from Argentina I thought I would be proud that they took the interest of doing something good, and make it into something better.

While in reality I couldn't understand how did they manage to make something original into something so much boring.

The original idea may has been the only thing they used, all the rest was... let's take few details and make the opposite.

Not to defend the original, that was not perfect at all, at least I know that everything is representing something else. Even the cricket played a role, and all in all the movie had a sociopolitical message. This one was a long action movie without substance.

From the beginning, you can tell it's going to be boring unless you start at some point caring for any of the characters.

But with a job like that, unless you are related to the person you are going to care as much as a bullfighter.

The movie is predictable, the movie is boring, I'm not insensitive but I couldn't care less.
