Going into this film, I had the unique advantage of being completely unfamiliar with the game it was based on. I hadn't seen trailers, read fan theories, or followed any of the development buzz. My expectations weren't colored by nostalgia or comparisons to the source material. All I had was an open mind - and I came away thoroughly impressed.

Being an Ex-Squaddie and serving in the balkans I found this film to hit me right where it hurts, Firstly the Whole squaddie way was nailed to a T with the way the officers spoke to JNCOs and the way that all commands were given it felt very real and non scripted. But mainly the locations and the way the events all unfolded was very hard hitting, it took me back 25years and gave me a nostalgia trip.
Well done to all who was involved and the awards are justifies.

Ok so I love a bit of humour in horror but the lead actor absolutely nailed it
Brilliant film, it had me hooked from the moment it started to the very end.
Made me make an account and write a review it was that good.
