This episode is without a doubt one of the best episodes in the show (in my opinion at least). Watching it live on April Fools Day was a great experience, but even on rewatch, it's actually insanely amazing.
Every single joke in this episode hits. Every single gag, every single plot point, it's all done and paced out so well. The episode ends in a greatly satisfying way, tying all of the loose subplots. However, in a way, it's not about how it ends, it's all about the journey there, which is just so damn enjoyable.
Overall, this episode is an example of how to use the Smiling Friends formula to its full potential. The level of craftmanship of not only the video game animation, but the writing, deserves the praise this show is getting.
Ranking it at #2 out of the currently released 16 episodes.

A Silly Halloween Special is a very different episode out of all the bunch, which isn't out of the ordinary for this show to be fair. This, however, can lead to some very conflicting takes on this episode. In my personal opinion, it's one of the best episodes in the series.
How this episode genuinely took a turn for the horror, with little to no jokes, just for that completely tone-shifting ending, is absolutely brilliant. The gags in the second act are amazingly hilarious, but the episode specifically doesn't include a ton just for that ending punchline.
This episode is a subversive masterpiece that you absolutely have to watch.

The scene where the air is running out is amazing, having that Be Cool silliness, but at the same time being so freaking intense. It's peak television, and I'm not joking. Speaking of jokes, every joke fricking leands in this episode. It's up there with the funniest Scooby episodes. Every character arc here is fun. The Fred's arc stands out the most, though, purely because how funny and in character it is. The designs of the gang in this series add on to the humour perfectly. I love the location of this episode. And the soundtrack in the aforementioned air scene is done so well. I rarely give something 10 out of 10, but this was so worth it.
