We truly enjoyed this film, on the edge of our seats many times, totally engrossing. Definitely overlooked gem. A disaster movie yes, but also filled with heart, warmth and success. Won't spoil it for others but it truly bears watching! Filming is well done acting is very good and the disaster scenes are totally believable. Have watched many disaster movies but this one has far better acting and storyline than most others. The movie could only have the ending it did, even though it was not what I would have wished, the ending is totally what was necessary. The final scene was uplifting and satisfying. Go for it!

My husband and I watched both seasons and had so much fun with it. We have always enjoyed Dean Devlin's programs and have enjoyed Christian Kane in everything he's done. The writng was very clever with great lines and great delivery. A couple of times we wondered if some of the aside lines were actually ad-libbed. The action was always good and the actors did a great job and the scenery was fantastic. Each episode was unique and very enjoyable. The fact that they filmed both seasons entirely in the Philippines with a lot of locals who were also very good was fantastic. We can only hope that the program returns.

Okay, so this one is not a big Hollywood production, action film. Sometimes my husband and I get a bit tired of the same old Hollywood theme and filming production. We have been enjoying films from Poland, Norway and England and other European productions. We enjoyed this film, the actors along with the action. The story was a good story and entertained us throughout. We found ourselves interested in just how some issues were going to get resolved. We knew the main actor was in it to "finish it" but we were still interested in how and when and the length of the movie was perfect. Sometimes you just need to sit back and enjoy a movie for the movie's sake.
