This is one of the most unbelievable movies I have watched recently. The characters were bad, the acting mediocre and the storyline was stupid.

If you are a fan of any of the actors, you may want to watch it just to see how bad it is.

It probably was made to be shown on the Lifetime channel.

It's Ray Liotta's last movie. I am sure he wasn't happy with it. (RIP Ray) I think the casting was bad too. The villain was a joke. I was amazed at the Rose character who could do no wrong.

I am amazed at the 10/10 ratings this crap shoot was given. Almost seems like they watched a different movie. Watch at your own risk.

I will start out by saying I am not a fan of operas. However this film was not what I had expected. The main characters were mostly unlikable. The plot was rather ridiculous. Certain actors were very miscast. Selena Gomez needed Spanish lessons. I am sure that anyone who lives in Mexico will hate this movie. The director isn't Mexican. I saw all the awards at the Golden Globes and that is the ony reason I decided to watch it. If you like any of the actors, you may want to give it a try. However I would have to say watch at your own risk. It is one of the worst films I have seen in the recent past.

I recently read the book this series is based on after watching one episode. The book was poorly written and the victim was treated almost as an after thought. I was hoping the series would be better. However it is a somewhat fictionalized account of the book. The author did not work with the police. And the main cop character is made up. So far I would not recommend either. The characters seem so fake. Both the adults and the teenagers are mostly sad and very unlikable. Seems neither the victim or the assailants had any responsible loving adults in their lives. I will continue to watch this series but I don't feel it is worth your time.
