Just binged watched the whole series, and I was so amazed and appalled at the same time. Eddie Redmayne gives an amazing tour de force performance as the Jackal, Ursula Corberõ amazing as the jackals wife, just about everyone cast in this series is brilliant..... then we have Lashana Lynch..what the actual hell? Ive grown up watching bad movies with bad actors and there's a novelty when they are paired together. But Lashana is someone completely misscast in a huge way. While everyone in this series showcases their amazing acting skills, they are overshadowed by Lashanas wooden acting and emotionless face. She's like the new John Wayne playing Ghengis Khan type of misscast. What a shame though, this show isn't 100% perfect, yes it has some glaring plot holes, but Eddie's performance and the suspense driven scenes push this show into new territory. But hopefully if there's a season 2, the people in charge of hiring the right actors, fix their mistake and recast the Lashana character with somebody who can act and emote. Fingers crossed.

I struggled to get through the first episode due to the canned laughter. We aren't in the 70s anymore and there's no need for it. If your show is funny, then let the viewers at home laugh, don't force it into our ear canals every two sentences. The show cannot try to be serious on any matter because the canned laughter is thrown in like adding salt to a wound. Tim is his usual self so his range isn't tested yet again, Kat is again plagued by bad writing but she tries so hard to bring her zest and insanity into a two dimensional character and the supporting actors aren't treated any better. If this show removed the usual tropes of comedy only shows curse and focused on the harsh realities, this show would shine. But what we have is another more than likely 1 season before it gets cancelled soon to be forgotten show which wastes great talents and ideas.

IMBD needs a zero star rating soon. There use to be a time when a movie was so bad it was good... this is not the case here. This movie is utterly abysmal in every conceivable way. The acting is downright atrocious and sometimes harmful to your eyes. The gore is so cheap and boring that you can't stop laughing. Did i mention the bad acting? The script is derivative and aimless as is the directors vision. Winnie the ppoohmovies were more enjoyable than this horrendous pos. Avoid at all costs.

The only good thing about this whole movie is the impressive moustache the paramedic officer is sporting at films end. I can fathom the budget of keeping that tache in brilliant condition was more than the films budget.
