This season has been excellent overall, but its pacing issues meant that the finale needed to be something extraordinary to tie it all together, and it was. In its 76 minute runtime I felt so many different emotions. It was excellently written and beautifully directed. It leaves us with enough answers to feel satisfied and a definitive choice made in the wait for season 3, but also leaves a lot of questions to be answered. This is the best episode of the show in my opinion and one of the best episodes of television I've ever seen, it was a perfect blend of humour, tension, violence and sadness, each emotion benefiting the other, a beautiful episode.
