A lot of people seem to be saying this show is meant for Gen Z, I'm a millennial and find it funny. Yes it does have some kind of... cringy jokes that are trying a little too hard but they were so infrequent I could forgive them.
I'm a huge fan of recent shows like English Teacher and Overcompensating and this show, while maybe not *quite* as good as those two shows (I gave them 10s) it is certainly filling that void while waiting for season 2s for those shows.
The characters are mostly all unique in their own ways and bring a different type of humor to each scene. If you're on the fence stick it out until at least episode 3, that is my favorite so far and what really solidified the show as a great show for me. Was disappointed when coming to the reviews to see it only had a 6.8 at the time of writing this, don't let that discourage you from trying it out.

This show has the best of both worlds. An amazing, well written story that keeps you invested and yelling at characters through the TV. While also some hilarious comedy. Hailee needs to be promoted to main cast for Season 2 (assuming/hoping it gets renewed)!
As a gay myself, this story is so well done and realistic and very relatable to me. It's honestly a struggle to find many gay shows that are relatable and realistic portrayals. It often feels like in Hollywood everything is either written by straight people who are just putting LGBTQ+ characters in relationships/situations that straight people would be in and not properly portraying the struggles or feeling cause they're just guessing by going off the one gay person who works at the studio, or the polar opposite and they are just going way over the top "boots down slay hunty queen" gay shows because their only gay media they've ever seen has been RuPauls Drag Race (no hate I'm a HUGE fan of that show too and love the campiness lol we just aren't all always like that in real life so it feels forced/insincere when a show comes out that overdoes it)
Just saying that to say... this show has done an AMAZING job at portraying different members of the LGBTQIA+ community in more realistic and relatable ways to real life. I'm sure that it certainly helps that it was created by a gay man sharing his own life story basically lol
So glad that this show is #1 on Prime Video! It deserves it!

I know I'm kinda in the minority here but out of the 3 Sonic movies, this is my favorite. It has a great mix of humor and heartfelt story. The characters are all well written for all ages. Enjoyable for the adults who grew up with Sonic, but also for the kids they may now have. Very well done.
I don't want to say too much because I want to leave a spoiler-free reveal but just give it a chance. I personally love the focus on Sonic trying to fit in to human life and the uniqueness of this story and that they didn't just take a story from a Sonic game and turn it into a movie.
The casting is stellar as well. Genuinely got a few good laughs and a believable story. Highly recommend, I've rewatched it several times!
