First of all, when I first watched the official teaser of the movie I like it and I was super excited about it. Then, I watched the official trailer which was a huge mistake, because it was very revealing. So, don't watch it! Gladly, my mistake of watching the official trailer didn't ruin my experience of watching the movie and it was as good as I had imagined. The movie synopsis was very interesting, mysterious and innovative. The storyline was kinda well-written and it's concept was original and unique, but it wasn't as well-explained as I would like. I mean, there were some plot holes during the end of the movie and some questions left unanswered, but it's okay. The main two characters (Millie and Tim) were both very interesting, well-developed and likeable. I have to admit, Dave Franco and Alison Brie both did a great job of portraying their characters and their performances were great. I'm not sure if I would consider it a scary movie, since there weren't many jumpscares, however the only thing I know is that it was a very creepy and intense movie. Also, there were too many shocking scenes during the movie (for example, the hair scene, the bathroom scene, etc). Regarding the cinematography and the score of the movie, they were both beautiful. I have to say, the opening scene was kinda predictable, but it was fast-paced, creepy and absolutely promising. On the other hand, the ending was absolutely insane and kinda unpredictable. Last but not least, I think the CGI and practical effects were both very well done. Overall, "Together" was a nice body horror film, very creepy, with some unintentionally funny moments, shocking scenes and I would definitely recommend it to anyone! Btw, a prequel would be a great idea, so we could have the chance to learn more things about how it all started.
First of all, I have to admit I wasn't aware of this case ever before and this was the first time I heard about it and that's the reason why I decided to watch the documentary. When I first read some things about the case, I thought it was very interesting and mysterious. Gladly, it was well-explained and they analyzed everything really well. In my opinion, it was a very emotionally true crime documentary and the fact that mental illnesses can affect humans so much, it's very depressing. I have to say, the pacing of each episode was exactly how it should be and it wasn't boring, at all. Overall, "House of Secrets: The Burari Deaths" was a nice true crime mini series/documentary, mysterious, shocking, emotionally intense and I would definitely recommend it to anyone!
First of all, I have to admit I'm a huge fan of the Conjuring movie series and of the whole universe and when they announced that, they were making a 4th movie which would be the last one, I was super excited about it. So, when I first watched the official teaser of the movie I like it so much and I had high expectations about it. Eventually, it was as good as I had imagined and I enjoyed it, a lot. The movie synopsis was very interesting and mysterious, but it wasn't innovative because it was similar to the previous movies. The storyline was very well-written and well-explained, even though it was simple ans easy to understand. The characters were very interesting, well-developed (especially, the legacy characters) and likeable. Actually, this was probably the first movie of the Conjuring franchise that the "new" family that was tormented by the devil weren't the main protagonists and they had limited screentime. I mean, the Warren's were the main characters and they were extremely well-developed in this movie. Also, I have to say that Vera's and Patrick's performances in this movie were PHENOMENAL and their chemistry was AMAZING. In my opinion, it was probably one of the most intense movies of the franchise and there were some emotional scenes during the movie. Regarding the scariness, I have to say it was absolutely terrifying and there were many great jumpscares during the movie. Moreover, the cinematography and the score of the movie were both perfectly done and gladly, it had the same tone and vibe as the original movie. I have to admit, the opening scene was kinda different than the previous times, it was fast-paced, shocking, creepy and kinda emotional. The 3rd act was incredibly suspenseful, very emotionally intense and it kept you on the edge of your seat, FR. Last but not least, the ending was PERFECT, very nostalgic, emotional and it was just great! Overall, "The Conjuring: Last Rites" was a great horror movie, very scary, intense, well directed and I would definitely recommend it to anyone!
